You Need a Website in 2010
Posted Jan 20 in Featured tagged 2010, Business, web design by Mike
I realise that many of you already know why you need a website in 2010 and I don’t intend on preaching to the choir in this post, so please ignore me now if that’s you. This is for those of you who are a little newer to the idea of doing business online.
The internet has changed the way we do business. It used to be that people would drive to a store to learn about a product or look though a phone book to find a local service, but over the past few years there has been major advances in searching locally online and all that extra work is becoming a thing of the past.
The Internet allows people to research and compare products, prices and business practices. In 2010 people are turning to the internet search results first. It doesn’t matter if you’re a one-man show or a corporate giant; if you don’t have a website, you’re losing business to other companies that do.
The internet has leveled the playing field when it comes to competing with big business. With a well-designed website, your operation can easily project the image and professionalism of a much larger company. Your site speaks volumes about your business. It either says, “Hey, look, we take our business so seriously that we have created this wonderful and convenient site for our customers!” or it bloats out, “Hey, look, I let my 10-year-old nephew design my website. Good luck using it!”.
Your website is an important part of your business, and this is where SiteFloat can help. If you need to find out more about giving your business a professional online presence, please contact us now.

Your Website is your store. You can leave the store and try to sell to other people in other places, but you don’t always have everything in your store with you. There is just too much to carry!!! Sending them to a website means many more sales!
Thanks!
